Chairwoman – Tammi Schulz

Tammi Schulz is a lifelong resident of Iowa, currently residing on a farm in Southeast Shelby County with her husband and two sons.  Tammi has 26 years of supply chain & financial experience with a focus in cost optimization, contract negotiation, and financial management.  With a background rooted in agriculture and a deep understanding of transportation dynamics, she & her husband established a successful trucking company in 2010.  Driven by a passion for community and a desire to shape the future of our nation, Tammi was naturally drawn into Republican politics.  Her commitment to conservative principles aligns with a vision for economic growth, rural development, and fostering a thriving environment for families. Tammi actively engages in the political landscape to bring about positive transformations and to contribute to the well-being of our local community.

Co-Chair – Mike Shaw

Mike is a veteran of radio and TV with nearly 40 years experience. He’s been a rock jock, an award winning reporter, a weather anchor and news anchor. In August of 2009 when Mike left Family Life Radio he went to a Tea Party rally. He made a YouTube video that was picked up by Glenn Beck, HotAir.com, and every conservative blog in the country. That changed the course of Mike’s life. He was recruited into the Republican Party where he served as First Vice Chair and then Chairman of the Pima County GOP. Mike went on to have a news talk radio show in the Tucson market for four years. He then served as Political Director for the State GOP in Arizona. Mike has lived in Harlan for a year now, and of course, had to get involved! All of his exes live in Texas. He has two grown kids and seven grandkids. When he’s not working or doing something political you can probably find him a Prairie Rose State Park fishing or taking pictures.
